Job Location: Cincinnati Job Corps Center (Cincinnati, OH)

Job Background:

Mental health provider for the wellness center at the Cincinnati Job Corps Center, a no-cost program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. We offer excellent hourly compensation, and professional liability. Compensation negotiable. Estimated to start early as soon as possible upon the DOL approval.

Responsibilities:

· early identification and diagnosis of mental health problems

· basic mental health care

· mental health promotion and prevention

· utilize the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) approach that includes short-term counseling with an employability focus

· collaborate with medical and wellness center staff

Qualifications:

· Must have a clinical license to practice in Ohio

· Must have a Master’s (LISW) or Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD)

· Must have 1 year experience with adolescents under clinical license

· Must be willing to work 40 hours per week

· Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain CPR certification

· Must be willing to go through a background check
