Job Details

Provide psychosocial services to patients and families who are facing the impacts of potential or actual cancer diagnoses. These services have been developed to remove psychosocial barriers, which may inhibit treatment.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:

• Master’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related mental health discipline with an emphasis on clinical experience.
• Three years experience past Master’s in the mental health field.
• One year of experience working with oncology patients
• Licensed as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
• Must be CPR certified.

PREFERRED:

• Prior clinical experience providing outpatient mental health or inpatient psychiatric services.
• Specialized training in cancer care through continued education and on the job experience
