Job Summary:
This position involves customer service to library users with technology needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent along with relevant technology experience required.

- Ability to learn and follow the general rules, regulations and procedures of the library system.

- Ability to withstand extensive standing while working.
Essential Duties:
- Be a collaborative team member, sharing responsibility for building supervision, working towards ensuring the proper maintenance and organization of the library and its collections, and in helping the library provide a welcoming, comfortable, and safe place for the community.
- Monitor and assist patrons with Internet and miscellaneous computer functions (MS Office, Email, search engines, job applications other normal software/applications). Familiarity with Apple, Android, Microsoft, and library software preferred.
- Monitor and assist patrons with library equipment (copiers, scanners, microfilm readers, projectors, etc.)
- Ability to teach short sessions of half hour to hour on different library apps and computer software.
- Provide prompt, knowledgeable and courteous service in answering technology questions, directional, basic reference questions, handling telephone calls and routing messages.
- Learning and assisting with opening and closing procedures.
- Required to perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
