Description Summary
Master's degree required in library science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association. Degree may be a Master of Library Science, Master of Library Service, Master of Library and Information Science, or a Master of Arts (or Science) in Library Science, usually designated as MLS or MA in LS. Continued updating of education through attendance at workshops and courses required. Two years of experience preferred. Thorough knowledge required of practices, principles and techniques of modern public library operation. This position will work 29 hours per week.
