Lending Middle Office - Cef, Vp

Overview
Opportunity to work for a top 20 Bank, with advancement opportunities both in the department and other functional areas of CIT and First Citizens Bank. This position will lead the closing, booking and funding process for all CEF Loans and Leases. You will also manage, coach and develop Closers/KYC associates to ensure teammates are delivering a positive client experience while maintaining required controls.

• Lead the closing, booking and funding process for all CEF Loans & Leases
• Manage, coach and develop Closers / KYC associate to ensure teammates are delivering a positive client experience while maintaining required controls
• Works closely with the Closers to effectively communicate closing conditions to the RMs/Clients and oversee the review of legal documents to ensure documentation complies with the Bank's Policy & Procedures and accurately reflects the transaction details for assigned portfolio
• Interacts closely with UW's/PM's and Team Leaders to ensure a smooth hand-off between the teams and resolves any issues or challenges
• Engages with CEF BU Head 2-3x per week to understand deal closing timing & confirm priorities
• Manage multiple day to day lease/loan administrative & collateral servicing items (e.g. partial or full releases of titles and/or UCC liens; resolving insurance renewals; payoffs)
• Acts as a peer to the Sales, UW and PM Team Leaders in the delivery of the Credit Products
• Understands and ensures that all appropriate Compliance Requirements are met (Flood Rules, KYC, BSA, CIP, OFAC, Credit Approval, DAP, Credit Files, SOX and Internal Audit)
• Involves the deal Sr. UW and exercises sound judgment with closing documentation and/or collateral exceptions, escalating to LMO Head or CF Chief UW Officer as appropriate
• Assist in training new hires

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is $120,000 - $140,000. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

• 8 years experience in managing Equipment lease and loan closing teams

Other Qualifications:

• Loan IQ / InfoLease and similar related systems knowledge
• Strong legal document comprehension and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Equipment Finance Lease and Loan Products
• Strong organizational skills, interpersonal and people development skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight time constraints
