Function
The purpose of the class is to provide administrative support to attorneys of the office by ensuring the cases are prepared for court. In this capacity, this class updates the case management system to make sure that cases for prosecution are scheduled identical to the court's schedule. This position also includes producing criminal histories.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or successful completion of the GED; some experience in direct customer service or receptionist work. Some clerical experience preferably in a local government environment.
- Must successfully pass a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion.
Additional Requirements
- Requires proficiency in the use of the personal computer and software programs to include word processing, database management and spreadsheets. Some knowledge of community organizations, procedures and policies preferred; thorough knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently; ability to foster effective working relationships with diverse populations and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
