Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic family law practice. As a Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain hands-on experience in the field of family law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research on various family law issues including divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division.
- Document Preparation: Assist in drafting legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and interviews to understand case details and client needs.
- Case Management: Help in managing case files and maintaining organized records of all ongoing cases.
- Legal Writing: Prepare case briefs and summaries for supervising attorneys.
- Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively with the legal team on complex family law cases.
- Professional Development: Participate in educational and training sessions to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
- Strong interest in family law.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
