Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Prepare and file legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, letters, and contracts
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Assist with document management systems and electronic filing
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Politley answer phone calls and take messages with professional phone etiquette
- Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
- Assist with legal case management and tracking deadlines
Requirements:
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Effectively and politely communicate with clients, colleagues and partners
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Willingness to learn and work with other team members
-Proficeinecy in computer skills
- Experience as a Legal Assistant, Secretary, or similar role is preferred
-Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and terminology is preferred
