Form of workMcGill Law is on the lookout for an energetic and dedicated Legal Assistant to enrich our team on a full-time basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our legal experts, providing crucial support as they navigate clients through various legal proceedings. Your contribution will be key in streamlining case management and enhancing our firm's efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Employ exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with clients, court staff, and fellow attorneys, always with a keen awareness of confidentiality.
- Generate documents from drafts or dictation as directed by our attorneys, with the ability to draft documents independently as your experience allows. Ensure all correspondence is crafted with meticulous attention to detail regarding grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Execute the filing of court documents promptly and accurately.
- Organize and schedule both virtual and in-person meetings for attorneys and clients, aiding in the management of attorneys' schedules to adhere to all deadlines.
- Manage and maintain case files, both digital and physical, ensuring organization and accessibility.
What We Offer:
