SalaryAlderson, Alderson, Conklin, Crow & Slinkard, LLC has an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant to join our firm. Our Legal Assistants work with our attorneys to assist clients in family law, workers’ compensation, probate and real estate matters. This position will focus primarily on family law, and while prior legal experience is preferred it is not required. The ideal candidate should be organized and detail oriented, enjoy working with people, have excellent telephone communication and a friendly attitude, and be willing and able learn new things. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills are a must. Your daily activities could include talking to new and current clients both in person and over the phone, assisting the attorneys with drafting pleadings, preparing correspondence, and performing other administrative duties such as mailing, file management, and calendaring.
