SalaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Legal Assistant to join our Criminal Defense Firm. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide support to the attorney and the rest of the Legal Team with a variety of tasks. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain valuable legal experience and interested in collaborating to maximize our firm's success.
Responsibilities
- Complete document and discovery review
- Craft motions, subpoenas, and petitions
- Maintain calendars and deadlines for the attorney
- Assist with administrative tasks as they appear
Qualifications
- At least pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must be technologically proficient
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Legal experience is a plus, but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
