Main responsibilities
The Global Legal Operations Manager will support all LEBI Operations around the world and will be responsible for implementing a global operations strategy in partnership with LEBI senior leadership and the Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate will enable a data driven infrastructure for LEBI teams to derive meaningful insights that will help them succeed in their functions.

LAW FIRM ENGAGEMENT MANAGEMENT
- Leads pluri-annual Law Firm retention Agreements with the Preferred Law Firms of the Group ensuring Sanofi's agreements are competitive in the legal marketplace
- Manages Legal services engagement platforms and develops best practices
- Conducts periodic law firm scoring surveys
- Manages conflict waiver requests and recording
LEGAL OPERATIONS AND TECH VENDORS MANAGEMENT
- Manages operations support for litigation reporting, intellectual property portfolio Management, e-discovery services, government investigations, matter management, and legal hold services
- Manages and maintains external legal vendors panel (including but not limited to law firms, professional and technology services, etc.)
- Develops global standards and guidelines supporting self-service of LEBI applications and platforms with a view to simplify
- Support Ethics & Business Integrity operations including internal investigations as may be required
- Takes a leading role in negotiating digital services and technology agreements in collaboration with procurement team with a view to optimize overall LEBI Business Operating Income
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION LEAD
- Drives the development of LEBI Digital Roadmap leveraging the insights of LEBI representatives as well as external insights from the legal operations industry
- Acts as critical subject matter expert in evaluating Technology and Services Vendors that fit the LEBI Digital Roadmap
- Aligns on the Roadmap with the LEBI Leadership Team and the Digital Corporate Function
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT & CHANGE MANAGEMENT
- Takes an active role in digital upskilling of LEBI teams and ensure User adoption of the LEBI tech suite
- Provides individual support to LEBI Members for strategic projects (help with outside counsel retention, e-discovery services and investigation management services)
- Develops and implements trainings on information management, litigation hold requirements and document retention policies
- Stays current on industry trends and internal and external digital resources and guides & advises the LEBI department on best practices.

Experience
- Excellent understanding of the legal and compliance challenges of a large multinational corporation and how legal operations impact our performance
- Legal technology management and support experience
- Experience working with global and multicultural teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive effective change in a global and matrix environment.

- Prior experience working with legal hold software programs in a large corporate setting
- Prior experience working with Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Teams with a data preservation focus
- Prior experience with forensic analysis of electronic data
Education & Qualification
- Associate Degree or College degree from accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- CEDS or equivalent certifications in E-Discovery
Languages
- Fluency in oral and written English is a must
- Frequent interactions with the teams based worldwide
