1. POSITION OVERVIEW
Title 2nd Shift Digital Press Operator (Shift is Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:30am)

Reports to Digital Production Manager
2. JOB SUMMARY
The responsibility of a Digital Press Operator is to run the production runs. This is accomplished through working with Press Assistants on job prep, running the press and maintaining the press and job materials during the production run.
3. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operate high resolution digital printing equipment
Maintain daily print job production logs
Set up, program and maintain color quality of printing jobs
Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality
Diagnose and correct operating problems affecting the quality of finished product
Ability to read and understand job specifications, printing procedures, quality control procedures and finishing procedures
4. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Must have good hand/eye coordination
Able to read a ruler
Have knowledge of color theory and ability to make adjustments and color corrections while operating equipment
5. ABILITIES REQUIRED
Physical strength and stamina o Must be able to lift 30 pounds o Must be able to remain on feet for long periods of time
