Our client, a national property management company, is seeking a LEASING AGENT for an immediate start in Duncan, OK.
This is a project-based, Section 8 property.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working at a large Family Affordable Housing Apartment complex.
High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree is preferred)
A minimum of two (2) years as a Leasing Agent/Consultant on a residential property is required.
Must be a dynamic leader, possessing the ability to motivate and lead teams.
Must have a strong understanding of budgeting and finances.
Some understanding of LIHTC HUD experience.
The background in Section 8 is helpful
Strong experience in affordable housing programs.
Must be marketing savvy.
Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software,
A valid driver’s license and vehicle is required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
The day-to-day duties will vary.
Assisting tenants with all daily needs.
Showing of units and following up on potential leads.
Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
Ensuring that site teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all our residents
Experience working with the elderly and people with disabilities.
Performs all other duties as assigned
Collecting and submitting all HUD paperwork and documentation.
