We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lease Operator to join our dynamic oil and gas industry team. As a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of oil and gas lease facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, equipment maintenance, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor the production output daily to ensure they are producing efficiently. This may include observing fluid levels pressure and coordinating oil sales and water disposal of assigned sites.
· To ensure continuous production, perform routine maintenance, and regularly inspect and monitor well heads / associated equipment.
· Check and maintain production equipment and vessels such as free water knockout, compressor, separator, pumps, and heater treaters, and maintain the functionality of chemical pumps.
· Optimize artificial lift settings to maximize production and identify and communicate downtime and needed repairs to appropriate groups.
· Responible for maintaining regular well testing schedule, identifying production tends and variances, and communicating to supervisors and engineering.
· Operate wells utilizing multiple forms of artificial lift: Rod pump, plunger, ESP, and Gas Lift
· Gauge tank battery.
· Ability to use SCAD system efficiently.
· Maintain production records electronically in production software.
· Familiarity with the operation and optimization of plunger lift and rod pump.
· Familiarity with operating multi-well leases and facilities
· Proactively look for opportunities to optimize production and cost.
· All other duties as assigned.
