Insight is seeking a Learning Specialist to join our team! As a Learning Specialist, you'll create engaging learning programs across different business units, such as Sales, Management, IT, Product Management, and Operations. Your role will focus on designing, coordinating, and delivering these programs to align with Insight's business goals. With your strategic and analytical mindset, you'll have the ability to plan and analyze the success of these programs to drive ongoing improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business requirements and assess needs.
- Manage training resources (room, virtual class, supplies, catering).
- Prepare training support tools for delivery.
- Review training materials to improve quality.
- Deliver sales, soft skills, management, and technical training.
- Customize classroom agenda, timeline, and content for audience needs.
- Oversee program facilitation and coordination.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Create training and communication deliverables using various software.
- Maintain training project plans with Microsoft Project.
- Schedule, coordinate, and support classes and online courses.
- Act as a communication coordinator for large programs and classes.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience coordinating and designing complex learning programs.
- Experience in sales, management, and technical training across a variety of mediums.
- Strong consulting, project management, and cross-functional team skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Captivate, and a quick learner.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, negotiation, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive initiatives and influence individuals or groups.
- Proven ability to work in a global environment with willingness to travel.
- Knowledgeable in adult learning theories and various training methods.
- Strong decision-making skills with direct impact on department goals.
