People Incorporated is seeking a part-time Learning and Development Specialistto join our Training Institute team! This position is grant-funded for one year and is reponsible for developing and delivering clinical-level behavioral health trainings for our employees and interns. The Learning and Development Specialist will partner closely with the Training Institiute Director on creating, coordinating, and providing input on enhancements to existing clinical trainings and their delivery that result in effective adult Learning and application.
Schedule: Flexible, part-time. About 20 hours per week. No Fridays.
Location: Main office and in-person training space at 3000 Ames Crossing Rd, Ste 600, Eagan MN 55121. Options to work from home as arranged with supervisor.
Hiring Range: $36.00 -$40.00 per hour, based on qualifications

Principal Accountabilities/Essential Duties:
- Write and develop new training curriculum in clinical behavioral health topics including, but not limited to, pediatric and youth mental health, clinical core topics, and healthcare leadership.
- Ensures alignment with instructor-facilitated, participant-led learning philosophy.
- Delivers training for a wide variety of classes related to Behavioral Health in person and virtually. Adapts training material to fit in-person and remote learner platforms.
- Has a high level of comfort with in-classroom and online remote learner platforms and processes. Uses PowerPoint, other presentation media, and Smart Board technology with a high level of skill and performance.
- Partners with subject-matter experts both internal and external to the organization to improve class content, instructional design, and evaluation.
- Assists with coverage needs for unplanned absences for other members of the Training Team
Required Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree and at least one year of full-time training and Development experience in behavioral health or related field
- Demonstrated ability to create clinical-level training curriculum.
Certifications/Licenses (preferred):
- LICSW or LPC, or LPCC in good standing
