About the Group
The core role of the Learning Experiences and Engagement team is to ensure the smooth delivery of APS Academy learning and development courses and programs to individuals and agencies across the Australian Public Service. This includes management of the following functions:
- Engagement with key stakeholders
- Course enrolments
- Management of the events program for the Academy
- Administration services and support
- Coaches and facilitator management
- Liaison with the MoAD learning space
- Implementation of program contract arrangements
- System administration
About the Role
The Learning Experiences Coordinator will undertake a range of activities to support the Learning Experiences and Engagement team, and the wider APS Academy. They will provide their expertise and knowledge across a range of activities including development and delivery of contemporary professional development interventions and programs.
Reporting to the Learning Experiences Manager, the Learning Experiences Coordinator role is responsible for:
- Supporting the management and coordination of requests for internal training for agencies/departments
- Coordinating enrolment, administration and logistic activities for scheduled learning programs i.e. Administer course information in the Learning Management System
- Resolving issues, conducting research and performing high level services to internal and external stakeholders
- Managing , monitoring and responding to email and phone hotline enquires in a professional and timely manner
- Contributing to and monitoring information resources e.g. procedures, processes and documents
- Contributing and applying innovation initiatives to maximise the benefits of change and contributes to the improvement in quality and efficiency of services.
- Motivating, mentoring people and providing direction to support other Learning Experiences and Engagement employees
- Modelling workplace safety, equity and diversity, participative management and effective workplace environments and acting in accordance with the APS Values and Behaviours
