Position Overview
Responsible for the analysis, design, and development of training programs, experiences, and interventions. Develops training assets and evaluates effectiveness of training initiatives. Provides ways to create, identify, and capture knowledge for distribution through a systematic process of organization. In partnership with the L&D network, performance group, and organizational leaders, supports in implementing solutions for successful programs. Will also partner with subject matter experts, learners, internal content designers, external training vendors, and learning technology, such as a learning management system (LMS). Provides administrative support for the role as needed.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Execute plans for analysis, design, development, and implementation for training programs or other learning interventions.
- Gather, validate, categorize, disseminate, and promote use of knowledge, tools, and resources for improving the organization and the individuals in it.
- Provide creative and effective solutions that give employees access to programs, training, learning tools, and relevant resources.
- Manage and deliver multiple projects in concurrent workstreams.
- Interact with stakeholders and provide regular communications and updates; written and presentations.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development and HR professionals across CRH to ensure programs align with strategic plan and meet program goals.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development and HR professionals across CRH to ensure successful implementation of both in-person, virtual, and blended programs.
- Benchmarks with other companies to determine best learning, technology, and knowledge management solutions for CRH.
- Identify external training vendors and manage partnerships as needed.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Instructional Design or Learning & Development
- Proficient project management skills
- Experience with instructional design principles (ADDIE and SAM) and adult learning theory
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (focus on: SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of SuccessFactors or LMS
- Experience with Articulate software
Work Requirements
- Must be 18 years in age or older.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20%
