Lead Teller
```Duties```
· Oversee and manage daily teller operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Provide exceptional member service by building relationships with members and addressing their credit union needs.
· Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
· Handle cash management duties, including balancing cash drawers, and ordering cash from Federal Reserve to maintain vault and ATM.
· Identify and prevent fraudulent activities by implementing security measures and following credit union policies.
· Assist members with account inquiries, account openings, and all electronic debits and/or credit functions.
· Open and close branch office, vaults, and night deposit boxes.
· Maintain ATM machine for continued function.
· Serve as an “on the job” trainer/mentor for new Tellers by coaching, teaching, and training them skill building techniques to help meet and exceed goals all while identifying performance problems and celebrating their success!
· Upsell credit union products and services to meet member needs
```Qualifications```
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 3 or more years of experience as a teller or 2 years-experience in a similar credit union/banking role.
· Prior supervisory experience is highly desired.
· Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and retail math.
· Significant level of trust, confidentiality, and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
· Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, and the ability to navigate between multiple windows simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building member relationships, and effectively communicating with colleagues.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
· Familiarity with fraud prevention detection techniques is preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
