Essential Functions:
- Oversee the daily functions of the maintenance shop and performs mechanic duties.
- Schedule regular maintenance on all vehicles and repair as needed. Works to proactively manage preventative maintenance.
- Assist with the forecast, management, and control fleet budgets including maintenance, capital expenses to maintain efficient operating performance.
- Develop and implement cost improvement and efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure CVEC remains in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for safety, operating authority, and other compliance matters.
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance in electronic form.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 year's experience
- Work experience may be substituted for the education requirement as well as additional education may be substituted for work experience.
- ASE Certifications, preferred.
- Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License.
