The Global Digital Services team is a part of our Central IT Services organization that runs the infrastructure and foundational technology that is used across all business units and within Corporate Departments. We are looking to add a Lead Tech Support Consultant to our team. In this position, candidates will provide high-quality in-person assistance to Liberty Mutual executives.
Responsibilities:
- Provides "white-glove" desktop technical support to Liberty Mutual executives and their staff for all aspects of end-user computing and network-based PC/workstation systems software and hardware, including Exchange, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365
- Performs complex maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment documents, and applies standard solutions.
- Participates in the testing and evaluation of new PC packages, implements prototypes, and consults with executives on the selection of packages and equipment.
- Travels to executive meetings, conferences, and occasions when an executive requests a technology consultant.
- May support and/or run special projects regarding broader initiatives within technology at Liberty Mutual.
- Mentor new team members on the executive technology support team.
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
- Excellent consultative and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with high-profile clients and other IT management and staff.
- Exchange Administration experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of end-user computing and network-based PC/workstation applications, including Exchange Online operations support and system administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Powershell preferred.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Intune.
- High proficiency in iOS support
- Microsoft OS (Windows 11) support preferred.
- Knowledge of AV Technologies like Cisco, Crestron, displays, and projectors.
- Practical experience with AV system operation, cabling, troubleshooting.
- Broad knowledge of Desktop & Tech Support issues, troubleshooting and ITSM & Incident processes
- Able to exercise an extreme degree of confidentiality and navigate sensitive information and interactions.
- Exercise sound judgment and decision making and knows when to escalate concerns; works well under pressure.
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician (MCDST), CompTIA A+, Network+ certifications preferred.
- Possesses flexibility to travel as needed (25%)
