Demand Generation Specialist and Events Coordinator

The Demand Generation position works closely with Sales to create engaging multi-channel programs that generate leads, move prospects through the buyer’s journey and deepen our relationship with current customers. They ensure all leads generated through inbound and outbound channels are vetted and efficiently handed over to Sales once qualified.

The Events Coordinator position focused event initiatives for Seager Marine, including tradeshows, pop up events and virtual and in-person Seager Marine hosted events. They ensure the company’s brand and messaging is represented professionally and accurately. The Events Coordinator manages each event from beginning to end, ensuring successful results for Lead Generation and customer support initiative

Responsibilities

Demand Generation

  • Assists in the execution of targeted multi-channel campaigns for Lead Generation
  • Writes emails, individual and in series, for communication with future customers in targeted verticals.
  • Develops compelling creative collateral and packaging for targeted campaigns
  • Build digital assets for Lead Generation including landing pages, forms, emails and workflows.
  • Creates email templates for the Sales team to use to communicate with their contacts about upcoming events, current promotions, and other relevant topics.
  • Develop Lead Generation programs utilizing best practices for demand generation to drive successful customer acquisition and current customer upsell opportunities.
  • Develop and manage standards for our CRM tool
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their targets and lead programs from top of funnel Lead Generation to strategic multi-channel ABM campaigns.
  • Vet contacts that come through inbound channels and pass qualified leads to the sales team with relevant background information that will enable informed follow up.
  • Coordinate with vendors on website projects and updates, communicate site errors as they arise.
  • Produce monthly reports from CRM, Google Analytics, Social Media, and other platforms to provide activity results insight in the form of written analysis and clear charts and graphs.
  • Research and accumulate complete lists of relevant prospects within our target markets, manage list hygiene, and import into CRM while ensuring proper field mapping and accurate updates to the existing database.
  • Evaluate current digital marketing processes and make recommendations for ways to implement automation wherever possible for increased efficiencies.
  • May create and deploy email workflows, landing pages, and other digital assets marketing tools and software required to execute Lead Generation campaigns.

Event Coordination

  • Create and manage localized events to generate demand of leads from new prospects in support of sales team.
  • Manages the events calendar and coordination of tradeshows and events to generate demand and increase brand awareness across all of company brands.
  • Ensures all applicable branded resources and collateral are available to onsite event team.
  • Communicates effectively with internal teams on expectations, logistics, and details of upcoming events, as well as post event.
  • Creates and delivers effective, well-designed communication in promotion of the event to relevant prospects in collaboration with the Social Media to generate awareness of our presence and activities at the upcoming event.
  • Travels to most or all events when Marketing presence is necessary to assist with setup and promote.
  • Handles lead routing to appropriate Sales team members post-event in partnership with other marketing team members.
  • Creates and delivers post-event communications to conference attendees and leads generated in partnership with other marketing team members.
  • Analyze participant surveys and implement changes based on feedback.
  • Develop creative ideas for events to promote lifestyle and brands of Seager Marine.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, marketing, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferred. Lead nurturing, inside sales, or related experience of 2-4 years.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills are a must
  • Experience with CRM preferred (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience with marketing automation and social media platforms for marketing and Lead Generation
  • Must collaborate effectively with Sales teams
  • High communication proficiency, both written and verbal
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel, and working knowledge of other Microsoft products and internet-based software required
  • Strong database skills or knowledge
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Independent drive for results
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
  • Adaptability through periods of change and growth
  • Ability to multitask based on prioritization and time sensitivity

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

This position is a hybrid/remote opportunity which is subject to change based on manager approval and business needs. An individual working in this role routinely sits at a desk and uses office equipment such as a computer, phone, photocopiers/scanners, and other peripherals. This position may require light lifting up to 25 pounds and travel to support sales and marketing related events or conferences.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
