Lead Packaging Associate - Night Crew

POSITION OVERVIEW

• The Lead Packaging Associate position is responsible for leading the packaging team under the Packaging Manager by ensuring the daily plan is set and followed, assisting in packaging and fulfilling orders and tagging and fulfilling shipments with the Packaging Manager and Facility and Quality Control Coordinator. This is a hands-on production position where team-work and a passion for product quality are crucial.

COMPENSATION

• Starting hourly wage, $20/hourly with a 90 day review after your first start date

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Process, organize, package, and label, cannabis products in preparation for distribution to Marijuana Establishments including, flower, and pre-rolls
• · Ensuring your team follows and has the appropriate daily plan
• · Help tag fulfill and track METRC tags for orders
• · Trimming and packaging bulk flower (When applicable)
• · Monitor, measure, and record precise product weight and total units produced for the team
• · Measure and document any potential product waste accurately
• · Ensure that the quality assurance and control standards set by the Facility and Quality Control Coordinator are followed accordance with local and state regulations
• · Partner with other departments to maintain efficiency and productivity throughout the production cycle
• · Assist in any duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company maintain success
• · Assist in post-harvest operations bucking, trimming and weighing (as needed)
• · Complete daily packaging paperwork involving individual productivity and daily goals

WORKING CONDITIONS

• · This is a hands-on, cannabis production position. You will be working in an indoor production, warehouse-like environment.
• · Rooms are industrially lit and feature heavy machinery sounds at times.
• · Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, standing all expected activities.
• · Plant pollen is present on surfaces and in the air. Proper PPE is required (Glasses, Gloves, Tyvek Suits or Scrubs, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS

• · Basic Math, Organizational, and Computer Skills
• · Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)

· 21+ and currently residing in the US

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
