Packaging & Labeling Associate

JOB TITLE: Packaging & Labeling Associate 

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:

• Reports directly to the Packaging & Labeling Supervisor
• With additional oversight by the Director of Production

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : (Packaging) 

• Check with Supervisor for daily schedule
• Set up work station and/or N2 Machine for task scheduled
• Properly fill out canning production tracker
• Daily break down of N2 after strain and/or end of day
• Assist with weekly full N2 breakdown and maintenance
• Clean station and follow daily cleaning protocol & document in log
• Package all concentrates and edible products produced at the facility
• Seal, tamper-proof products, Sulfane wrap pkg if needed
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : (Labeling)

• Check with Supervisor for daily schedule
• Set up work station for task scheduled
• Solar package “Box label” properly filled out, which includes Task, Initials, old tag new tag, quantity, Product description
• Properly fill out Production Index card, which includes Employee Name, Date, Start time, Product, METRC, Total, End time
• Properly fill out MP & Third Party sheets
• Clean station and follow daily cleaning protocol & document in log
• Maintain consistency through repetition to maintain uniformity in products
• Be aware of quality and compliance standards and check for defects
• Comply with all state regulations and company standard practices and procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• On occasion you may be asked to cross train or help in other departments/positions (Trim/Manicure, Post Harvest, Pre-Roll)
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
• End of day restock all non-cannabis inventory as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in high volume packaging preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of frequent, repetitive, and fast hand movements
• Able to accurately follow specific direction in a strictly regulated facility
• Must possess a high attention to detail
• Ability to read and write in English
• Excellent organization and time management skills required
• Excellent work ethic, reliability and professionalism
• Have genuine and positive energy

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be able to pass all required background checks.
• Ability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
• This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time.
