Laboratory Packaging Associate

• Location: Burlington, MA
• Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st Shift.
• Pay rate: $22 - $24, based on experience

The Lab Tech participates in entry-level lab production duties, such as filling antibodies, labeling, packaging, shipping and other duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the formulation and packaging of Bioactive Small Molecules.
2. Performs manual and automated weighing of hazardous or non-hazardous materials into vials,
typically in milligram quantities.
3. May also be trained to perform dry box packaging and some formulation work such as
dissolution, dispensing, lyophilization and dry down.
4. Utilizes balances, pipettors, computers and handheld devices to execute and record activities.
5. Other projects as assigned by manager.

Education:
Education Level and Languages Required – High School Diploma, Associate’s degree in Science preferred, English speaking.

Essential Skills:

• Good command of metric system and basic math
• Good hand to eye coordination and be able to sit for long periods of time performing repetitive tasks.
• Be able to accurately document work activities in SAP on a daily basis. Requires good computer skills.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and follow instructions.
• Be detail-oriented, accurate and possess good communication and organizational skills.
• Pre-Employment testing requirements – Packaging test run and math check, Pre-employment physical
• Physical Requirements (PPE, lifting) – Personnel are required to wear personal protective equipment that includes lab coat, eye protection and gloves as specified

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. on occasion without assistance.
Repetitive type work

Shift: M-F 7am - 3:30pm, Plus Overtime hours daily.

The ideal candidate will have GMP (good manufacturing practices) or GDP (good distribution practices) expert
