What you will Do:
Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests including specialized or experimental procedures assuring rapid and accurate results. Is responsible for all technical aspects in the operation of morphology testing in Hematology services to include training and competency assessment of lab technical staff
What you will need:
- Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university in Medical Technology leading to ASCP certification or equivalent as determined by the Professional Director.
- 4 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a Hospital laboratory.
- Registered MT (ASCP) or equivalent as determined by the Professional Director. Must qualify as a "supervisor" under state laboratory licensure regulations.
