We are looking for a Lead Mammography Technologist
We are seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to join the Sol Radiology team at our soon-to-open Imaging Center location in Victorville, California. As a member of the team, you will help facilitate the operations of our mammography department. You'll report directly to the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor/Lead Technologist.
As a key member of the Sol Radiology team, your insights and feedback will help us improve how we support the organization as well as our partners, and as you deepen your understanding of our business and internal processes, your scope of responsibilities will grow, allowing you to have a long-lasting impact on our business.
Your responsibilities
- Review and analyze the captured images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of examinations performed.
- Perform and document all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) per DPH, MQSA, and ACR guidelines.
- Responsible for all accreditation and state inspection processes
- Monitor compliance with recommendations for follow-up studies.
- Monitor recommendations for biopsies to ensure follow-up procedures have been performed.
- Maintain pathological results from biopsies.
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
- Ensure the operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance; instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; and maintaining equipment inventories.

- Knowledge of Mammo equipment operation, safety protocols, and image acquisition techniques
- Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- A minimum of 2-3 years of Mammography experience is required.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- CA State Licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Mammography
- BLS certification issued by AHA.
- Must maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment.
- Hologic-trained applicants are strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation Range: $45.00 - $53.00 per hour
