Lead Line Cook

New Cocktail Bar - Park Slope Brooklyn - Seeking Professional and Experienced Lead Line Cook

We've opened a beautiful new Cocktail Bar with a compact open kitchen where we are producing an elevated small plates menu to pair with our inventive cocktails and wine list.

We are seeking a strong Line Cook used to working on high-demand shifts. We have been very busy and the menu spans from small pre-prepared items requiring delicate plating to using a combi oven and induction cooktops for cooking and finishing. All of the equipment is brand new and state-of-the art.

The following is highly desirable:
- Experience using several methods of cooking in a high-demand environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Experience with stores and inventory
- Ability to place vendor orders efficiently and maintaining a basic budget
- Ability to communicate effectively via email or other methods (i.e., text, slack)
- Dependable availability for a full time schedule- evenings from Tues-Sun (Weekend availability absolutely required)
- Occasional creation of specials, seasonal items

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
