Position: Lead Kid’s Attendant

Location: Mesa Verde Country Club, Huntington Beach, California

Salary: $23 - $27 per hour

Mesa Verde Country Club, a premier community and family-oriented club, is eagerly seeking a Lead Kid's Attendant passionate about fostering a nurturing, educational, and safe environment for children. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning through play.
• Ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, upholding the highest standards of participant safety and program excellence.
• Guide children with mentorship, encouragement, and positive behavior management strategies.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with children, parents, and team members.
• Implement and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, actively maintaining a secure environment for all children.
• Provide personalized attention, monitoring children’s development and well-being.
• Maintain professional relationships and collaborate with the Mesa Verde Country Club team to ensure a seamless experience for families.

Qualifications:

• A background in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, with 12 to 24 semester units completed from an accredited institution or possessing an Associate Teacher Permit or higher.
• Preferable experience of 6 to 12 months in a group care setting.
• Exceptional multitasking, initiative, and reliability in meeting children’s needs.
• Strong abilities in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and participant record maintenance.
• Current adult and infant/child CPR & First Aid certifications are preferred.
