Lead Ice Cream Maker

Ampersand Ice Cream in Fresno, CA is looking for an Ice Cream Apprentice to join our hard-working team and be developed into an Ice Cream Maker and team lead! Our ideal candidate takes direction and correction well, is self-motivated and happy to help others, an excellent communicator, task oriented, and looking for long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Dishes!
• Egg-cracking, candy making, baking, and of course making Ice Cream.
• Creating daily production schedules and executing them to Ampersand standards.
• Multi-tasking in a busy and fast-paced focused kitchen.
• Following all work standards set by Ampersand management.
• May be asked to perform other lead duties laid out by Ampersand management such as cash handling, guest resolution, and corrective action.
• Weekends and evenings will be required

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle heavy lifting (over 50lbs) and a physical day.
• Some professional kitchen experience.
• 2-4 years of general work experience.
• Management experience is great but not required.
• Minimum age requirement - 18 years
• Limited to no food allergens or dietary restrictions.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
