Position Summary
The Lead Human Resources Business Partner is accountable for assisting with the organization and implementation of all Human Resources functions for Operations and Fulfillment sites. The Lead Human Resources Business Partner plays a critical role as a member of the RWC Human Resources team and will be accountable to assist and support operational Human Resource strategic initiatives to achieve desired objectives.
Principal Responsibilities
- Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
- Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, workplace issues, harassment or discrimination allegations, and other complaints.
- Uses the ADP or HRIS system to track time & attendance, maintain employee records, run reports, and process data analysis for decision-making purposes.
- Develops and administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Processes employee separations, conducts exit interviews and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Participates in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting retention, compensation, benefits, and development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management or a business-related field.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively partner with multiple areas of the business at all levels.
- Ability to review and analyze data to identify trends and make data driven recommendations.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Ability to objectively coach employees through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
- Need to possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external Business Partners.
- Must work efficiently, independently with accuracy, maintain confidential information, exercise sound judgment, and make accurate and timely decisions.
- Have experience and the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions
This position will be primarily in an office environment but may also include time in the warehouse, manufacturing plant and other locations. Up to 20% travel required.
