As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways: Responsibilities:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) will provide tactical and strategic human resources leadership, advice, consultation, and coaching to business leaders across the organization regarding talent management, employee retention, employee relations and employee engagement. The SHRBP will be responsible for supporting business objectives and driving results related to HR efforts in partnership with the Vice President of Human Resources and business leaders.
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance with leaders. Assists in coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective employee relation investigations.
- Works closely with management and employees to ensure an engaged and productive work environment with a focus on employee retention. Partners with leaders on creating and implementing employee retention strategies/plans.
- Assists with the onboarding of new management to ensure understanding of HR practices, policies, programs, and protocols.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation counseling to ensure policy understanding and adherence.
- Conducts STAY and Exit Interviews for all eligible employees. Trends, Analyzes, and Reports employee exit trends to Vice President of HR.
- Works with Vice President of HR to identify employee turnover trends and assists leaders with executing retention strategies.
- Partners with Vice President of HR to roll out HR initiatives such as annual performance evaluation process, employee engagement survey, and various HR initiatives.
- Partners with management on people-related matters including employee relations, conflict resolution, company policy interpretation.
- Collaborates with Leaders to create new job titles and job descriptions as needed.
- Promotes a positive work environment by demonstrating fairness, empathy, and respect for all employees.
- Partners with Vice President of Human Resources to drive continuous improvement in HR programs including performance evaluations, talent development, and employee engagement.
- Drives improvement opportunities based on feedback from engagement surveys, stay and exit interviews, performance reviews, and other stakeholder information.
- Works closely with management and employees to drive strong work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement, and retention.
- Perform other duties and needed and/or assigned.
Eight to ten years of work experience in a Senior HR Generalist, Senior HR Business Manager, or HR Business Partner role.
- Previous Experience in a healthcare setting required. Home Health or Hospice industry experience preferred.
- Previous project management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of performance management; conflict resolution, with the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to strategically apply concepts and initiatives that align with the business directives.
- Demonstrated success in building internal trust and strong relationships with all levels of leadership and employees.
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, federal and multi state employment and labor laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to excel, exceed, and demonstrate a sense of urgency with outlined deadlines for HR deliverables.
