Job Description
Offering $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Under the direction of the Director, Manager and/or Supervisor this employee will oversee and participate in Triaging rental home respiratory equipment and perform required repairs, calibration, and recertification in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Lincare guidelines.
- Provide training support to repair team as directed

- oversee quality assurance to meet the company standard
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Repair and recertify home Ventilator, Concentrators, and other Respiratory equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Execute testing procedures utilizing proprietary test equipment
- ensure compliance to codes/manufacturer's instructions
- troubleshoot and sterilize equipment for patient use
- Perform preventive maintenance and manufacturer required function testing
- Triage returned devices and determine proper disposition
- Maintain a safe and organized production/test area
- Document and maintain records for all repair and function test of equipment
- Provide training, mentorship, and answer all job-related questions brought forth by technician staff
- Support management staff with any assigned tasks within the repair model
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Work Experience
- 1+ year of experience within the repair center, troubleshooting and
repairing Home Medical Equipment (HME)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Determine when repairs are feasible as compared to manufacturing guidelines
- Understand the mechanical operation of Home Medical devices via testing equipment
and/or gauges - Interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
- work independently with minimal supervision in a production environment
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) preferred
- On-site training provided as required for specific equipment
- Maintain certification necessary to repair specific equipment
- Must pass and maintain vendor training classes and become certified per manufacturers
