The GPS team will leverage systems, design thinking, and key partnerships across the Nike matrix and the industry to bring Nike to the forefront of new ways of working. GPS will serve as an enterprise catalyst under the CFO, helping to lead change, strengthen its global operations and accelerate progress toward Nike’s strategic objectives and in support of the Next% Offense.

Within GPS, Nike Travel is moving and connecting employees around the globe at the optimal service levels and cost. This role is part of a global team supported by an external Travel Management Company (TMC)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Lead to manage travel within the Americas region.

This role will lead the strategy and implementation of travel solutions in the Americas, aligned with GPS’s Global Standards and Partnerships. The candidate needs to have experience in corporate travel with the ability to bridge between industry standards and Nike needs in the Americas, tying to our global strategies.

We’re looking for a candidate capable of crafting programs and solutions tied to defined outcomes across multiple teams with the ability to implement with key performance indicators and check and adjust where needed.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with the Travel Team and will have oversight and execution responsibilities in tasks like:

  • Connect and collaborate with Americas (US, Canada, LATAM) travel personnel to ensure a cohesive strategy and successful operations network.

  • Act as Travel SME for Nike’s Americas regions

  • Partner with the Nike Travel Global Team to improve overall agency program efficiency in support of global strategies.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key America’s team members to help inform global and geo initiatives and ensure optimal service levels.

  • Develop travel sub-strategies as allocated in conjunction with team members as appropriate

  • Provide operational oversight for TMC’s Americas Operations

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

If this is you, you’ll be part of the GPS Services Team, you will report into the Director of Travel and Global Events and collaborate closely with your peers within the Travel Team.

WHAT YOU BRING]

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of launched travel services and successful implementations

  • Ability to communicate with many different consumers, collaborators and partner groups

  • Experience working with teams with collaborative approach

  • Strong problem solving skills. Ability to analyze reporting and decide where corrective action is necessary

  • Experience managing suppliers

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree

    and minimum of 6 years directly

    relevant work experience Note: One of

    the following alternatives may be

    accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters

    + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High

    School + 7 yrs
