Lead Custodian (Direct Hire)

Remedy is thrilled to be partnered with a learning institution located in Buffalo, NY. They are currently seeking to fill a Lead Custodian position. The ideal candidate will be highly detail orientated, provide high quality customer service to all, and be a flexible, team player. Please see below for more details:

Job Title: Lead Custodian

Job Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire

Hours: Mid Shift: 12:00pm-9:00pm

Pay: $16.50-20/hr

Essential tasks for this Lead Custodianinclude:

• Perform general custodial duties in order to maintain a high level of building cleanliness including: Floor cleaning including sweeping/dust mopping, wet mopping and vacuuming, emptying trash and recycling containers daily, cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, stocking paper products and more
• Is the evening point person for 3 part time custodians and work alongside them to maintain a clean school and conduct safe operations
• Appropriately lock up the school each evening
• Additional duties as required

We're looking for a Lead Custodianwith the following background profile/skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 + years of prior Custodial experience
• Manual dexterity and strength needed to operate cleaning tools such as mops, brooms and vacuum cleaners
