Due to continued organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a full-time position with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program which will serve people who are justice involved, experiencing mental illness, and deemed incompetent to stand trial.
The goal of this cutting edge program is to facilitate early access to mental health services and restore people to competency efficiently and effectively.
This program will be established and operate within multiple San Mateo County jails in Redwood City, CA.
In this role, you enjoy a mix of clinical and managerial responsibilities, including:
- Conducting mental health assessments and providing mental health treatment to clients
- Helping to establish and operate a program based on best practices in forensic mental health
- Ensuring clients receive person-centered care and outstanding mental health services
- Liaising with jail security, law enforcement, legal, and mental health authorities
As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role you can expect:
- Starting salary between $110,000 and $140,000 (depending on experience)
