LM MFC is seeking an experienced LabVIEW & TestStand Lead Test Systems Development Engineer who will be responsible for developing, debugging, integrating, and verifying test programs for new test sets being developed in support of testing the PAC-3/MSE Missile and subsystems. This role will write test description documents, operating instructions, and installation procedures. This role will support Peer Reviews, Code Reviews, Design Assurance Reviews, Pre/Post Verification Readiness Reviews, etc. This role will be required to work to the assigned tasks as laid out in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) within constraints defined by the Test System Technical Lead. The person in this role will be required to have HW knowledge and may be expected to troubleshoot HW issues. This role will be expected to provide timely and frequent communication on progress and significant issues to the Test System Technical Lead and other Program and Functional Stakeholders to prevent surprises. The role will be accountable to the Test System Technical Lead for the test program performance. This role will consult with the Test System Technical Lead, Test System Hardware (HW) Subject Matter Expert (SME), Systems Engineering (SE) SME, Unit Under Test (UUT) SME, Group Technical Staff (GTS), TE Incubator Staff, and Functional Design Assurance SME to ensure the test system design is in-line with Enterprise standards and to ensure the test system meets requirements. Applicant should have a strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, test equipment hardware/software design, integration and verification. Applicant should be a proven problem solver who can multi-task in a complex interrelated environment.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of Test Engineering experience including RF test
• Previous Experience Leading a Team for a Test Set Design Effort
• Certified LabVIEW/TestStand Developer (CLD) or Certified LabVIEW Architect
• Certified TestStand Developer (CTD) or Certified TestStand Architect
• Proficient in Object Orientated Software Design
Desired skills
• In depth knowledge of requirements management lifecycle including derivation, trace, compliance, and verification.
• Test Equipment Interface Test Adapter (ITA) and cable design experience.
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) common toolsets, ideologies, and best
• Practices: DOORS classic, DOORS Next Generation (DNG), Rational Rhapsody, No Magic MagicDraw, cross application linking, SysML, etc.
• Experience with defense system development and design, preferably missiles and ground systems.
• Experience in developing medium- to large-scale LabVIEW Embedded control and monitoring applications with COTS and/or custom test equipment
• Ability to develop and document system, software, hardware, firmware, specifications, and test plans per high level requirements
• Have experience in automation of the collection, measurement, and evaluation of data including the use of a wide range of test equipment such as power supplies, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Frequency Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
