Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Provide support and guidance to children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members.
- Assist with behavior management and classroom management to create a positive and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and organize daily activities and lessons.
- Support children with special needs, including working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development and early education principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well with young children.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and redirect negative behaviors in a positive manner.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and needs in the classroom.

Pay: $17.94 - $18.53 per hour
