About Us:
Little Hills Learning Center is a locally owned childcare center located in St. Charles, MO. We are a state licensed facility. Our teachers facilitate learning through play. We believe in creating a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow!
Job Expectations:
- Provide a positive, safe, nurturing, and friendly classroom environment.
- Be able to meet the needs of all children in a developmentally appropriate manner.
- Follow state licensing and sanitation rules and regulations.
- Communicate and build relationships with parents and families.
- Be a reliable team player.
- Exhibit classroom management skills.
- Support children through developmental milestones.
- Prepare children for kindergarten, socially, emotionally, and academically.
- Support children’s social emotional development by working with common and expected toddler behaviors in a positive and Developmentally Appropriate manner.
- Create lesson plans and activities based on provided curriculum.
- Maintain professionalism in all aspects of the job.
- Promote learning through play.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families using provided childcare app.
- Continue education through state-mandated trainings and training provided by Little Hills.
Requirements:
· Degree in education is a plus!
· Minimum of 1 year experience as lead teacher in a licensed facility
· Availability M-F, Full and Part time available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
