Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Lead Accountant to join our finance team. As the Lead Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and actively participating in the strategic financial management of the business. This position requires a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations:

Lead the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and month-end close activities.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Financial Analysis:

Provide in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting.
Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial processes.
Hands-On Involvement:

Actively participate in the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and financial reports.
Play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes.
Process Improvement:

Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance the overall financial function.
Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and insights to support operational decision-making.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial goals and overall business objectives.
Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial laws.
Stay updated on changes in accounting principles and regulations.
Training and Development:

Stay informed about industry best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant, with a track record of hands-on involvement in accounting operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
