Summary
Supervises the activities of stamp assembly and quality control on first shift, ensuring individual member goals are achieved in support of assigned specific team goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicates and/or interprets overall organizational directives and applies them to the team and individual objectives.
- Acts as liaison, representing the team in general; point of contact for General Assembly and quality control.
- Provides input to management regarding individual team member performance; administers annual performance reviews.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operation by leading and directing a group of employees to assure a smooth workflow.
- Assigns, monitors, and reviews the progress and accuracy of assigned work.
- Familiarizes employees with established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Trains new employees and instructs employees on the proper use of equipment and tools.
- Saves and batches orders using company software.
- Work time is spent performing most of the same duties as those supervised such as: reading and following specifications and other instructions in order to build and assemble products and examining completed work to detect defects and verify conformance to work orders, correct any problems.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Requires 1-3 years of production experience.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Requires good computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs and systems.

During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be required to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
