Job Description
Our agency is currently seeking a LCAS (A), CCS, CSAC or CDAC to counsel our members for our Community Support Team (CST).
Team member can be a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A), Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, or a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) with at least one year of experience with adult mental health consumers.

Duties Performed
Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
Performs direct one-on-one patient contact through individual or group counseling.
Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
Reports patient grievances as required.
Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
Assists in monitoring all patient activities.
Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities: Drives the delivery of the SUD service: Provides individual therapy for individuals served by the team Behavioral interventions such as modeling, behavior modification, behavior rehearsal: Designates the appropriate team staff so that specialized clinical expertise is applied as clinically indicated for each individual Provides and coordinates the assessment and reassessment of the individual’s clinical use disorder needs.
