Lawn Doctor of Royal Oak is growing and is looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused Lawn Care services to join our team. We provide year-round treatments to make lawns beautiful and healthy. (We do not do maintenance or landscaping.) We currently are specifically looking for a Production Supervisor. This position will play a key role in our strategic growth.

Job Responsibilities
Manage and train operations team
Be an expert on Agronomy and Horticulture for our local area and proper treatment plans
Guide the operations team in providing excellent Client Care, to build long term relationships and recommending appropriate treatment plans
When needed in the field, apply fertilizer, weed control, and insect control to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
Identification of pests, cultural problems, and the proper use of select products
Effectively communicate with customers regarding treatment and recommendations. Handle concerns and issues that might arise
Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
Motivate and train operations team
Ensure procedures and policies are followed
Recognize and implement process improvements
Share goals to be the premier Lawn Care company in the area
Build a culture of excellence
Qualifications
Desire to be a part of a fast-growing company with lots of opportunities to grow professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as math skills
Ability to listen and learn quickly
Positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed
Willing to take time to educate clients on what they need to do to assist in achieving a beautiful lawn.
Proven success in being self-motivated and working with little or no supervision
Desire to coach and guide a team
Industry experience and/or education is helpful, but not required
Willing to collaborate with team members
Desire to continuously learn new things and improve
Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in strenuous situations
Willingness to work in all types of weather
Clean Michigan Driving Record and criminal background
Must be able to pass drug screening
Actual work experience in the Lawn Care industry is highly desirable and will be compensated accordingly. An applicator license will be necessary and training will be provided.
Compensation
$45,000-$52,000 Salary per year
Commission paid on sales made
