Lawn Care Crew Member

We are looking for a hardworking, self motivated Lawn Care Crew Member to join our team. The individual will be required to have a valid driving license, and a clean driving history. Background checks and drug testing will be required.

Availability must be weekdays and periodic weekends. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday beginning at 8:00 am and ending when the particular jobs are completed for those particular days. Average quitting time is between 4:30 and 6:00 pm. Longer or shorter days may be needed depending on the weather and the work load. Saturdays are make up days and used when needed.

There will be grooming/hygiene requirements due to the client interaction. Qualified candidates must be organized; have good communication skills; and be able to work cooperatively with customers and team members.

The duties as a Crew Member will include but not be limited to the following conditions.

A Crew Member must have the following credentials:

• A fundamental knowledge of the ability to operate all equipment used by Coastal Turf LLC and to perform the various tasks involved in using that particular equipment.

• The knowledge of all areas of the particular accounts that he or she will be assigned to.
• The ability and experience to troubleshoot and diagnose minor equipment problems in the field.

• Be responsible for the day to day operation of a Lawn Care route.

Physical Demands:

• Safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials, including, but not limited to backpack blowers, trimmers for edging/weeding, large bulk materials to include mulch/plant material/rock, various sizes of lawnmowers, etc.

• Safely operate hand and power equipment, including but not limited to manual and powered sawing and cutting equipment.

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Lift branches and limbs

• Push, pull, grip and squeeze various tools, products and/or items.

• Walk up to 10 miles a day, sometimes uphill and on uneven terrain, often while carrying, pushing, or pulling equipment, materials, or debris.
• Bend and kneel up to 9 hours or more a day.
• Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation)
• Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear plugs will be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
