Hayes Hunter PC is a boutique Law Firm with a diverse practice, including business, real estate, probate, and intellectual property litigation and transactional work. Our growing Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated, tech-savvy, and self-efficient Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be in charge of overseeing office operations and marketing efforts, streamlining systems, and managing the administrative support.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain front-facing relationships with customers, contractors, service providers, and vendors.
- Assist the firm’s marketing and development efforts by working with our attorneys and marketing firm.
- Keep office systems running smoothly including ordering office supplies, organizing filing systems, and maintaining and ordering office equipment as necessary.
- Assist with billing and invoicing tasks, including preparing invoices, tracking billable hours, and following up on client payments.
- Carry out other human resources tasks and office administration duties when necessary
- Lead office management including day-to-day operations, directing administrative assistants, and other secretarial duties
- Assists with administering payroll (verifying work hours, leave time, overtime)
- Assist in maintaining, enforcing, and improving office policies and procedures to meet internal needs while upholding our business standards
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Law Firm management experience preferred
- Training from a business/vocational school or other legal education preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with any enterprise time and billing system.
- Familiar with any document management system.
- Proficient with local, state, and federal filing rules, elementary legal procedures, and legal and business terminology
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
- Professional, polite, and positive client-centric attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
