Laundry Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of assorted linens, including tablecloths, napkins, and various hotel linens. Other responsibilities include making linen deliveries and/or pick ups (only 1-3 deliveries). Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will contribute to the overall client experience.

Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron tablecloths, napkins, and towels.
- Assist with packing and having linens ready for delivery
- Operate commercial laundry equipment efficiently and safely
- Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and supplies
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Requirements:
Must be able to assist with making linen delivery and pick ups for any pop-ups or overflow in daily route schedule (typically 1 to 3 deliveries only). Requires a valid driver's license. Company vehicle will be provided.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care instructions is preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good multi-tasking abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well with others and demonstrate positive attitude
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Must be able to be at work as scheduled and on time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week

Payment frequency:

• Paid biweekly

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
