We are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, person to operate our hotel’s laundry facility and to ensure there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand of the hotel. We are a brand new hotel that opened in October 2023. This position requires weekends.
Job Summary:
Laundry Attendants are responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and folding hotel linen. This includes washing, drying, and folding of hotel sheets, blankets, duvets, pillowcases, towels, washcloths, hand towels, bathmats, and cleaning tools like rags and mop pads. This includes utilizing pre-treatments on stains and following reclaim procedures for heavily stained linens. Laundry attendants also restock linen closets, ensuring these storage areas remain organized and clean. Laundry attendants are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry room and the equipment and effectively communicating maintenance issues and low supply. Ideal candidates will have basic knowledge of operating laundry equipment and load times. The successful candidate will be organized and work autonomously.
