Landscape Field Crew Member

At Landscapes Unlimited, we're expanding our seasonal landscaping crews and looking for dedicated individuals to join us. In the winter, you'll collaborate with teams of two to four members to ensure our clients' properties are protected from snow and ice. Transitioning into the summer months, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals, contributing to the installation of diverse landscaping services like plantings, hardscapes, water features, and beyond.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Snow Maintenance | Safely and efficiently shovel, plow, or remove snow from client properties to ensure safe access.
Ice Management | Identify and address ice buildup using a variety of de-icing materials, prioritizing safety for clients.
Landscaping Services | Perform diverse landscaping duties like planting, hardscapes, water elements, fire features and other assigned tasks to nurture and enhance landscapes.
Plantings Expertise | Assist in planting and maintaining diverse flora, including plants, shrubs, flowers, and trees, following established procedures for optimal growth.
Site Preparation | Prepare job sites by executing tasks such as demolition, removal, mulching, fertilization, or other required procedures for successful installations.​​​​​​​
Landscape Maintenance | Conduct scheduled maintenance routines to upkeep clean and aesthetically pleasing landscapes for our clients.​​​​​​​
Hardscape Installations | Aid in the construction and upkeep of hardscape features such as pathways, driveways, patios, pavers, and retaining walls to enhance outdoor spaces.
Collaborative Work | Engage in effective teamwork with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure quality results, client satisfaction, and streamlined, safe operations.​​​​​​​
Safety Compliance | Adhere to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to create a secure work environment for oneself and team members.​​​​​​​
Equipment Proficiency | Safely operate landscaping equipment to create and maintain beautiful and functional landscapes..
REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in following directions, company policies and procedures as directed.
• Skilled in working independently when necessary while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to all safety protocols and regulations set forth by company.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with the team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Capable of safely and responsibly operating necessary tools and equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.

WORK CONDITIONS
This position will be introduced to a variety of field environments, and thus should expect some, if not all, of the following work conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
• Exposure to dust, pollen, chemicals, cold, heat and loud noises.
• Capable of communicating through texts, phone calls, in-person and through the use of internet-based software.
• Requires various amounts of walking, standing, kneeling, bending, sitting and lifting.
• Capable of traveling to and from project sites, the office, our shop, or to various vendors, as needed.
• Capable of following instructions and training to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Ability to work near and/or with equipment, power tools, commercial vehicles or other equipment as needed.
• Capable of utilizing technology for various tasks and tracking, including industry-related software, cell phones, email and other systems as needed.
• Capable of lifting, carrying or pushing up to 50 lbs.
