SalarySPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality?
- Clear the site with particular attention to trash, limbs, and rocks in preparation for mowing, weed whipping, and edging.
- Pull weeds in flower and shrub beds, prune shrubs and trees as directed, and remove all debris.
- Blow and collect/mulch leaves or grass clippings and place into the back of a truck or trailer, load and unload small mowing equipment into a truck or trailer, lifting and moving various obstacles in the turf areas, and lifting and carrying string line trimmers and backpack blowers.
- Mow turf using various mowers and edge grass at curbs and walkways.
- Alert Crew Lead to any issues with turf, plants, trees, or shrubs on the property.
Safety?
- Operate, in a safe and efficient manner, push mowers, string line trimmers, power edgers, backpack blowers, stand-on or ride on mowers, and other assorted Grounds Maintenance equipment as assigned.
- Complete and maintain all assigned Greenius safety trainings.
- Wear clothing and safety equipment appropriate for the job performed.
- Perform preventative equipment checks prior to operating.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment and ensure required materials, including first aid kits, are stocked and stored appropriately.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Grounds Maintenance operational procedures is preferred.
- Ability to physically and repetitively bend, kneel, and/or squat to complete the above responsibilities.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. individually and 80 lbs. with assistance for a variety of circumstances including but not limited to backpack blowers, large containers of mulch/plant material, various sizes of lawnmowers, etc.
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand and follow directions.
- Problem solving ability with respect to all equipment types required to perform duties listed above.
- Completes assigned work in a timely and accurate manner.
- Works well with co-workers and supervisors.
- Consistently reports to work on time.
- Adheres to Employer expectations regarding conduct and appearance as specified in the Employee Handbook.
SCHEDULE:
- Average work week consists of 8-10 hours per day Monday-Friday
- This schedule is dependent on weather and may vary if rain delays work Monday-Friday.
- Fridays and weekend work are possibilities if unable to complete work per bid on above schedule.
- Growing Season lasts roughly from the months of April through October.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Grounds Maintenance Crew Member, you will be asked to work as part of a team to implement maintenance of client sites while adhering efficiently and effectively to safe practices. You will work flexible hours/days depending on weather conditions and season.
Employer will support Employee’s growth and education to help achieve career goals and to support Company mission. This is an at-will, non-exempt employee position under Minnesota Law. Non-exempt employees are eligible to receive overtime.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
